A Collaboration with Chippewa Nature Center & Part of the Living with Animals Series
Funding for Slow Birding is provided by Andy and Donna Rapp.
Join Vermont naturalist Bridget Butler, aka The Bird Diva for a spacious introduction to Slow Birding—a practice rooted in mindful attention, deep listening, and an intimate relationship with place.
Bridget will share how Slow Birding emerged from her own journey of paying closer attention to the natural world.
Together, we’ll explore methods for noticing bird behavior, tuning in to subtle cues on the landscape, and using what you observe to build both your naturalist skills and a more grounded sense of belonging outdoors. Bridget will also share how the effortless pull of birdsong, movement, and light can gently settle the mind and restore clarity.
